It's Time To Make Up Your Mind

Updated: May 7, 2020

What do you want?

God or the World?

When Moses was come to years! Heb. 11: 24-27

Refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter.

(Who is your Father?) Jesus said, “if God were

you, Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth &

came from God: neither came I of myself, but he

sent me.” John 8: 42

He that is of God hearth God's word.; ye, therefore, hear them not because you are not of God.

It is prudent to consider what you don't want to be.

This will help in understanding what you want.

Moses` by Faith forsook Egypt, not fearing the

wrath of the king. (faith) There was nothing there he wanted.

Moses knew he was born in Israel. Those who know they are born into the kingdom of God. Will act accordingly.

He had no allegiance to Egypt. Ja. 4:4 1Jo.2:15

This world is not my home. 1 Thes. 1:13

2. Moses chose to suffer affliction with the people of God. Rather than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season. Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompense of the reward. Heb.11: 25,26

Why do you suppose He chose to suffer for Christ?

The disciples of Jesus all forsook him the night He was arrested. Why?

Even Peter who said he would be willing to die with him denied him three times on the same night. They all seemed surprised and intimidated by the forces of darkness. Read Ma.26: 69-75

The same will happen to you. Unless you make up your mind like Moses, who knew what he didn't want and he truly had respect unto the recompense of the reward.

Most professing believers today are not ready to suffer for the sake of Christ; and for heavenly reward. Ma. 5; 10-13 Heb. 11:6

Jesus endured the cross for the joy that was set before Him. How about you?

A man of conviction is able to resist the pleasures

of sin. His mind is made up. Jos. 24:15

He denies himself and takes up his cross.

Only a fool would refuse to give up what he can

never keep; to gain what he can never lose.

2 Pt. 3: 9-14
